Solar power (also called PV for "photo-voltaic") is electricity generated directly from sunlight. It's a tested, certified technology with a record of low maintenance and dependable, cost effective performance spanning decades.

CSS Inc. uses only solar modules from leading manufacturers like Mitsubishi, Sharp, SolarWorld and SunTech that are guaranteed by the manufacturer for 25 years or more.

  How Solar Works

A standard “grid-connected” sun power system consists of an array of Photo Voltaic modules mounted to the roof, or anyplace they can receive plenty of direct sun.  When sunlight strikes the PV array, it generates an electric current.

The array is connected via an inverter to your existing electric panel and meter.  When the array generates more electricity than you use, that electricity flows into your utility company’s power grid and your meter spins backward.  At night, or on heavily overcast days when you use more electricity than you generate, your utility company supplies the power and your meter spins forward.  In essence, you “sell” electricity to your power company during the day and “buy” it at night.

At the end of the billing cycle you pay only for the net amount of energy used—if any.  Solar energy systems are scalable, and we can design your system to offset all of your energy needs or, if you prefer, only your high-cost electricity demands.

California Sun Systems uses only solar modules from leading manufacturers (such as Mitsubishi, Sharp, SolarWorld and Suntech) that are guaranteed for 25 years or longer.
